How to use

Apply zinc pyrithione 1% shampoo (e.g., Head & Shoulders) 3-5 times per week. Leave on for at least 2 minutes before rinsing. For maintenance once symptoms clear, use 1-2 times per week to suppress Malassezia regrowth.

How it works

Zinc pyrithione is a coordination complex that releases zinc ions inside fungal cells, inhibiting mitochondrial electron transport and membrane function. It reduces Malassezia yeast counts on the scalp and also has modest antibacterial properties.

Safety notes
