About

Nature, cited.

Evidence-based natural remedies for everyday ailments. Backed by clinical research, traditional use, and clear safety guidance.

Why we built this

Natural remedies are everywhere online - but the information is scattered, uncited, and often contradicted by the next site you visit. We built Nimbera to be the resource we wished existed: one place where every claim links back to a real study, every remedy comes with honest evidence ratings, and every condition page tells you plainly when something is beyond what plants can do.

We cover 105 conditions with 508+ remedies - drawn from Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, European herbalism, Native American traditions, and modern clinical nutrition - all cross-referenced against published clinical evidence.

Our editorial process

Step 01

Primary source research

Every remedy begins with a search of PubMed, the Cochrane Library, and NCCIH. We do not accept secondary sources, wellness blogs, or manufacturer claims as evidence.

Step 02

Evidence rating assignment

Each remedy is rated Strong, Moderate, or Limited. Strong requires multiple RCTs or systematic reviews. Moderate requires at least one RCT or consistent observational data. Limited covers mechanistic studies, animal data, or traditional use without strong human trials.

Step 03

Safety and contraindication review

Warnings, drug interactions, and pregnancy/medication contraindications are compiled from the same primary sources and from pharmacological reference databases. We err on the side of caution.

Step 04

Ongoing accuracy

Content is reviewed when significant new clinical evidence is published. If a remedy's evidence rating changes, the page is updated to reflect the current consensus.

Our evidence standard

Every remedy is rated Strong, Moderate, or Limited based on the quality and consistency of clinical evidence. Strong means multiple well-designed RCTs or systematic reviews. Limited means the evidence is preliminary or mechanistic. We never inflate a rating to make a remedy sound more certain than the science supports.

Every entry links directly to its primary source - a PubMed study, a Cochrane review, or an NCCIH clinical summary - so you can read the evidence yourself.

What we are not

Nimbera is not a medical provider, and nothing here is medical advice. We are a reference - a starting point for your own research and conversations with your healthcare team. Every condition page includes a "when to see a doctor" note precisely because we believe knowing the limits of natural remedies is as important as knowing the remedies themselves.
