Terms of service
Effective May 4, 2026
These terms govern your use of Nimbera — the website, mobile app, and any related services (collectively, "Nimbera" or "the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Nimbera.
What Nimbera is — and isn't
Nimbera is an educational reference for natural and herbal remedies. We curate information drawn from published research and traditional knowledge, and we provide a private journal and AI assistant to help you track your own wellness.
Nimbera is not a medical service and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing on Nimbera should be interpreted as medical advice. The information we provide has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Natural remedies are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are breastfeeding, take prescription medications, or are in any doubt about a symptom — please see a qualified healthcare provider. In an emergency, call 911 (US) or your local emergency number immediately.
Your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use Nimbera. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Don't share your password. If you think your account has been compromised, change your password immediately and contact us at hello@nimbera.app.
One person, one account. You may not create accounts for other people without their knowledge or create fake accounts.
Acceptable use
You may use Nimbera for your own personal wellness reference and journaling. You may not:
- Use the Service to provide medical advice to others or operate a healthcare practice.
- Scrape, crawl, or copy Nimbera's content in bulk for use on another platform.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, server, or system.
- Use the AI assistant to generate content that is harmful, misleading, or illegal.
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service.
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
Content you create
Your journal entries and chat messages are yours. We don't claim ownership of content you write. You grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to operate the Service — for example, to display your journal entries back to you and to send your chat messages to the AI assistant.
You are responsible for what you write. Don't enter information about other people in your journal without their consent.
AI assistant
The AI chat feature is powered by Anthropic's Claude. The assistant can discuss natural remedies, help you interpret information in our database, and help you reflect on your journal entries. It cannot diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or replace a doctor.
AI responses may be inaccurate. Always cross-check AI-generated health information with a qualified professional before acting on it. We are not liable for decisions you make based on AI responses.
Paid plans and billing
Nimbera offers a free tier and one or more paid subscription plans. Paid plan features are described on the Pricing page.
Billing is handled by Stripe. By subscribing you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on the recurring interval (monthly or annual) you select. Subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled.
Cancellation. You can cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you will retain access to paid features until then.
Refunds. We offer a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase if you are unsatisfied. After 7 days, refunds are at our discretion. To request a refund, email hello@nimbera.app.
We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not apply mid-term to active annual subscriptions.
Intellectual property
The Nimbera name, logo, remedy database, editorial content, and software are owned by Nimbera and protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership to you.
You may quote brief passages from Nimbera's content for personal use or non-commercial commentary (e.g., sharing a remedy description with a friend). Any other reproduction or redistribution requires written permission.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Nimbera is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantee that the information on the platform is accurate, complete, or current. Natural remedy research evolves; what is published today may be updated or contradicted tomorrow.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nimbera shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service — including any health outcomes, whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for personal injury or consumer protection claims. In those jurisdictions, the above limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account. See our Privacy policy for what happens to your data on deletion.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or if we are required to do so by law. Where possible, we'll give you advance notice and an opportunity to correct the issue. Serious violations (e.g., attempted unauthorized access) may result in immediate termination.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state of Minnesota, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Minnesota, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will email you at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
