How to use

Steep 1 tbsp dried licorice root in 8oz boiling water for 10-15 min. Cool to a comfortable temperature, gargle and spit. Use once or twice daily.

How it works

Glycyrrhizin in licorice has anti-inflammatory and mild antiviral properties. A controlled study found licorice root gargle significantly reduced post-intubation sore throat compared to placebo.
